I've had a back piece in progress by Chris Garver for quite some time now. He started the process about 10 years ago (taking my back measurements, drawing the first few ideas, etc...) I was on the road with Hatebreed quite a bit at that time, so Chris actually started the tattoo in 2002. Well alot has happened in the last decade for both Chris and myself, and our schedules haven't always synced up. I've had a few sessions here and there, but now... FINALLY, we're on our way to finishing this tattoo!!!! I sat for about 5 or 6 hours (give or take, with a few breaks in between) and I couldn't be happier with the progress that was made! I hope to get another session in within the next few months, until then, check it out!

This past weekend, Corey Scoolidge and myself took a trip up to Rochester, NY. to participate in the Roc City Tattoo Expo. We flew the Brass City Tattoo banners, did a few tattoos, sold a few shirts and had a great time doing it! Big ups to our good friends at Hat City Tattoo, Vanguard Tattoo, Inksmith and Rogers, and Halo Tattoo. Here's some pictures from the weekend. 1st set of pics are tattoos done by Corey, I did the butterfly and the Bee!

Since I shacked up with Jessica last year, I've had the pleasure of going to the Mt. Carmel festival the last 2 years in a row. It's pretty cool, lots of good food, nice beers and a bevy of local as well as international talent! No matter who's performing or what rides and or amusements are available on any given year, you can always depend on one thing... THE GREASE POLL!!! Basically, a bunch of guys get on each others shoulders, totem poll style, and the last one has to climb up all of the other guys to get to the top, where they're rewarded with some nice salami, cheese, and about $300.00 cash!!! It's alot harder than it looks, and I KNOW I ain't EVER gonna try it!!! Here's some pictures I shot with my phone of the winning team this year!
